Dunkin' Donuts

Location: Brick Church

Project Category: QSR

Project Scope: 6,000 Sq. ft. MEP

Client/ Architect: ZELTA DESIGN

Status: Completed

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Dunkin Brick Church QSR project involves a quick-service restaurant development linked to Dunkin' locations near Brick Church, such as Brick Township or East Orange, New Jersey, within mixed-use commercial developments. The engineering for these projects adheres to rigorous standards to ensure operational reliability, with a dedicated focus on integrated systems design.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

We provided MEP engineering solutions designed to optimize operational efficiency and reliability. The system utilizes occupancy-reset economizers that recover 70% of outdoor air (OA) energy, combined with LED track lighting at 140 LPW integrated with dual-tech sensors for 5-minute timeouts. For the drive-thru performance, which hits 220 cars/hr, we installed 1" schedule 40 PVC conduits for detector leads buried 24" deep, ensuring activation delays remain under 1 second even under full EMI shielding.

ACHIEVEMENT

By implementing these advanced, integrated systems, the project achieved a 28% reduction in peak kW energy consumption. This high-efficiency design ensures consistent, reliable performance while significantly lowering the facility's overall energy footprint.
